Rules of Engagement

01–05
  1. Match the character. You must use the exact character that set Legacy's benchmark for the record you're attempting to beat. The Time Trial and Fastest Lap may have different characters.
  2. Shortcuts are allowed. Hacks, cheats, save states and gameplay manipulation are prohibited.
  3. Show the entire attempt. Your video must show every lap, from the start of the Time Trial through to the final results screen, without cuts or splicing.
  4. Submit your evidence. Upload your attempt to your own YouTube account (Public or Unlisted) or provide a viewable Twitch video or saved broadcast link.
  5. Beat the benchmark. Only a time faster than Legacy's original record counts as beating Legacy. All submissions are verified before appearing on the leaderboard.
