Built for Gamers
Video Game Legacy is here for every kind of gamer. The collector hunting down the last item on a checklist. The player checking the latest gaming news. The completionist who absolutely refuses to leave something at 99%. Or the person looking for their next completely unnecessary gaming challenge.
Some of Legacy is about preserving where gaming has been. Some of it is about what is happening right now. And some of it exists because somebody had an idea that really should have been stopped much earlier.
For Collectors
Checklists, databases, regional releases, variants, collections and preservation projects for anyone who enjoys finding, documenting and completing the things gaming has left behind.
What's Happening Now
Gaming news, charts, new releases, subscription updates, store updates and the other useful bits that tell you what has actually changed without requiring an expedition across half the internet.
Contribute to Legacy
Guides, screenshots, media, collections, research and other community contributions can become part of Legacy too — with the people who help build it recognised, including through the Hall of Fame.
Take On Legacy
Some challenges are perfectly reasonable. Others begin as tiny ideas and somehow become insane multi-year commitments that most of you will probably beat us at anyway.
The Legacy Store
The Legacy Store will grow alongside the rest of the site, with products and ideas aimed at gamers and collectors. It is part of Legacy's future — not the reason the rest of Legacy exists.
You
We can research the databases, build the checklists, create the challenges and spend an unreasonable amount of our lives arguing with spreadsheets. But there is no Video Game Legacy without the people who use it, contribute to it and take part in it.
Legacy starts with us. It grows with you.
