The Final DLC for Dave the Diver Revealed — A Fully Immersive Subnautica 2 Content Pack Press ReleaseNews 9 Oct Written By Legacy Jill SEOUL (October 8, 2026) - Today, Mintrocket pulled the curtain back on its final DLC pack for DAVE THE DIVER - Subnautica 2 Content Pack, a DLC developed with cooperation from Unknown Worlds Entertainment. Coming in early 2027, the free expansion will see players explore the unfamiliar ocean moon of Proteus, filled with unfamiliar creatures and valuable resources waiting to be discovered. The upcoming Subnautica 2 Content Pack creates a confluence of mysterious waters unlike anything before, with Dave and Bancho traveling interdimensionally to make new discoveries, unlock strange and exotic recipes, and lend a hand to new friends in need—all while facing periodic confrontations with Subnautica 2’s signature creature, the massive Leviathan. “For our final DLC expansion, we wanted to create something that felt especially meaningful, and a Subnautica collaboration is what players have been asking us about for a long time,” said Jaeho Hwang, Mintrocket Studio Director. “Both games are set underwater, but Subnautica has such a distinct approach to underwater exploration, so working with the Subnautica 2 team gave us a chance to bring a new wave to Dave the Diver experience. We’re really excited for players to see what we’ve been working on, and we hope this collaboration gives them one more fresh and surprising adventure with Dave and his friends, old and new.” “We’re so excited to collaborate with the team at Mintrocket. It’s clear that we both adore one another’s games a lot, and the expansion is a love letter to both Dave the Diver and the Subnautica universe. People are in for a treat,” said Anthony Gallegos, Creative Director of Subnautica 2.
