Returning to familiar places at different points in time reveals new perspectives on past events, connecting personal stories with traditional rituals and creatures from Slavic mythology. Created over eight years by a two-person Polish team, The End of the Sun draws on research into regional traditions and material culture. Using photogrammetry, the developers recreated real buildings and historical objects, bringing the details of rural life into the game’s world.
