This is the 100th post on the newly revised Video Game Legacy and it's 6 days later than it was supposed to be!
Unfortunately as is occasionally the case the past week has been a rather demanding one, I have 4 kids under the age of 10, 3 of them are on very different sections of the autistic spectrum and the run up to xmas can lead to a number varying problem this year we mixed in a number of must attend professional and medical appointments too.
But your not here to read all about that and while I'm sure that some of my real world distractions will put off a few I'm at least happy enough to note that Legacy was still updated every single day and will be throughout the rest of December.
While I'm probably going to fall short of my 100 posts a month target again this month it's something that we'll constantly strive for throughout 2019.
In the next editorial which should be January 1st 2019 I'll be posting a daily post schedule so everyone can see exactly which parts of Legacy will be updated on which days.
Doing this not only helps give me focus and routine to ensure things are ready hopefully a couple of days in advance but will let all of you know exactly when the content your most interested in viewing will be up.
During the past month the majority of the focus has been on press releases that land in our inbox and for the most part December will follow the same pattern.
However we have begun adding weekly store updates from PlayStation and Xbox, Nintendo store updates should start today.
I'm still weighing up exactly how we are going to post Steam store updates as they often add 100+ games every single day.
I've also made posts in the database, reviews, media, achievements and hints sections in the last few months to give an idea of how they will look once they are being regularly updated.
I've also posted a number of checklists to legacy already and yes we know their all relatively short Amiibo lists at present but again their main purpose is to show how bigger lists will look when they begin arriving next year.
I'll try make sure all the Amiibo lists are up before the end of this year so I can move onto some of the console lists from early January.
Pokemon Lets Go Eevee (Nintendo Switch)
I've played through the first 3 gyms of the game and got to the point where i'm about to enter the tower in lavender town and hopefully catch a great gastly so I can have a gengar on my team.
Due to work and family commitments I haven't actually had much time to play for the past week or so but my general early impression is reasonably positive (forced motion controls aside)
Thomas Was Alone (Xbox One Game Pass)
Probably my favourite indie title of all time.
I have beat thomas was alone on the Wii U, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Steam and even on my phone so when I noticed the game on Xbox Game Pass I thought why not one last time.
Not that I really need an excuse to spend a little more time with a few coloured shapes with names but my gamerscore is probably all the more grateful for it.
To top it off my 5 year old daughter has become so attached to the game she's now playing through it herself and despite a few frustrations she's actually doing quite well.
I don't spend all that much time playing games on steam largely because after spending so much time working on my pc and or Laptop the last thing I really want to do is be stat staring at my pc and or laptop gaming or otherwise.
But when I noticed Peggle sat there on my steam list (I bought it years ago and then forgot) I was drawn back in to oh just a few levels which in turn actually led to me beating the entire main game.
I still have to do all the missions and clear all 100 pegs on every level but it's something I'm certainly going to try and do between now and the end of the year before moving on to peggle nights which I also found in my steam account!
Sorry there are no videos for this months editorial I never really got any time to film any footage and genuinely had very little gaming time as I tried to get Legacy back up and running.

News Not Click Bait
Official Press Releases
Straight from the sources themselves.
We publish full press releases without editing or spinning the facts to suit our own agenda.
Digital Store updates
We'll try post as many updates as possible on what's releasing & what's on sale.
Video streams of various events from multiple companies across the world.
Most notably of course E3 but a fair few others too.
Outside of reviews I don't spend a lot of time voicing my own opinion on things and this will be one of the few places I'll be using total editorial freedom to do so.
Occasionally we'll post news on games that have kick starter campaigns under way.
We can't cover every single one but we'll try to Take a look at ones we're made aware of that have at least 14 days to go.
Retro Press Releases
A look back to how news was spread in the old days with press releases from the same day at least 10 years in the past.
We don't make posts just to push affiliate links but sometimes they are included.
Using these links helps the site and 100% of revenue from them is put back into Legacy.
They are all clearly marked and every post that includes them is tagged as such.
If you want to support is then great but if you'd rather not we're fine with that too.
If you want to see every tag or archive in the database you can do so here.
The list will be very long though
