Hello all, thanks so much for looking at Brass Town Wrestling. The RPG for wrestling geeks like us!
Version 1 of the game should be out on Steam by August.
Take the small open world life sim approach of Harvest Moon, mix it with the skill building system of Princess Maker 2, and build it around the core theme of professional wrestling!
The outcome? A life simulator based in a small town, filled with a mixture of obscure and casual wrestling references.
In the game you can work your way up the ranks of the Brass Town Wrestling to get to your very own Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!

Hall Of Fame
You are awesome chants, the game, and we'll design a character of your choosing to be our world champion.
The game doesn't currently have any stretch goals
Please note Legacy plans to feature 1 kickstarter Project every Monday (where possible).
Regardless if Legacy backs a project or not we are not responsible in anyway for your own choices.
Some Kickstarter projects are a massive success and others are a complete failure.
Every project comes with it's own risks and rewards please do your research and make an informed decision on the project.
Has Legacy Backed this project?
I'm a big fan of rpg maker games in general even if they aren't always as long or polished as I might hope they are.
I've also be watching wrestling even longer than I've been playing video games (it's not quite as fun anymore but I'll stick with it)
Given Brass Town's £200 goal, game idea and modest tiers there was never much chance of me not backing this project to be honest.
We backed at the £7 tier because I have no real desire to name an npc I would probably had gone for the top tier of £50 had it been available when we backed the project.
Risks and challenges
Direct from the developer
Regarding risks and challenges, the main risk is that it's only me making the game and I'm relying on a friend to do the graphics. We're both doing this on our free evenings and weekends, so if work or life gets hectic it'll delay the release. A slightly less serious risk, is that I sometimes spend more time playing the game than I do programming! On the plus side, my slight addiction has helped to find and fix a lot of minor issues! :)
I've plugged away at the game for over 5 years now, so it will come out in a complete form even if there is a delay. I really hope that the game will continue beyond release, as I can't imagine not working on it.

Official Press Releases
Straight from the sources themselves.
We publish full press releases without editing or spinning the facts to suit our own agenda.
Digital Store updates
We'll try post as many updates as possible on what's releasing & what's on sale.
Video streams of various events from multiple companies across the world.
Most notably of course E3 but a fair few others too.
Outside of reviews I don't spend a lot of time voicing my own opinion on things and this will be one of the few places I'll be using total editorial freedom to do so.
Occasionally we'll post news on games that have kick starter campaigns under way.
We can't cover every single one but we'll try to Take a look at ones we're made aware of that have at least 14 days to go.
Retro Press Releases
A look back to how news was spread in the old days with press releases from the same day at least 10 years in the past.
We don't make posts just to push affiliate links but sometimes they are included.
Using these links helps the site and 100% of revenue from them is put back into Legacy.
They are all clearly marked and every post that includes them is tagged as such.
If you want to support is then great but if you'd rather not we're fine with that too.
If you want to see every tag or archive in the database you can do so here.
The list will be very long though
