Ancient Magic, Formidable Foes and Co-Op Combat: Real-Time Battle & Magic Mechanics in 'Kitaria Fables'

Armed with sword, bow and spell book, fight against a rising darkness threatening the world of Kitaria Fables. Adventure through wildlands, dungeons and more in search of relics and resources, tend to your farm, craft provisions, gear, and new spells to take on quests solo or with a friend in co-op mode!
Unrestricted by class, customise and change your load out as often or as little as you like! Burn your enemies from a distance, cut them down where they stand with your sword or trust in your arrows to fly true.

With a real-time battle system and classless combat, kit your loadout with swords, bows and magic in any way that suits your environment, enemies, and unique play style! Use resources to craft magic, weapons and armour that compliment your favourite way to play.

Embarking on your quest for the very first time, the mysterious and notorious Sage Alby reluctantly shares wisdom from an ancient spell book, introducing you to the lost art of magic.
Harness the elements of fire, water and wind, learning the old ways of a magic outlawed by The Empire long ago! With a huge range of skills to learn, collect 'spell spheres' to trade with the Sage to unlock new spells.
Kitaria Fables features local co-op, and remote play via Steam! Team up with a friend, double your firepower and face the dark creatures & dangerous enemies of the wildlands.

Balance your party with the highly customisable loadout and combat mechanics; from sending in a point-blank heavy hitter while casting spells from afar, to flanking enemies hard with two close range bruisers, and more - the choice is yours!

Adorable Action Adventure Kitaria Fables will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year!

They aren't even all in the game yet let alone Shiny!

But here's the crazy, near impossible challenge we set out just because something easily achievable just isn't fun!
Catch or trade for every Single Pokémon in Shiny form in Pokémon go (including all variations)

It's doomed to failure of course but you're more than welcome to follow us on this journey of disaster and on the day the game finally shuts down we'll begin giving each and every single one of them away via Pokémon home or whatever might replace it in the future!
At the time of Publication we already have 150 unique Pokémon so it will take us few weeks to catch up but we'll get there as quickly as possible!

Each Shiny Pokémon will come with their own little mini story and images
About

In total to date I've caught 4 shiny Bulbasaur's all on 4 separate days
Yes I only caught one on it's original Community Day years ago and that was the one eventually evolved up to the Venusaur.
About

Unlike Bulbasaur' I've had an awful lot of Shiny Charmander's over the past few years.
I even caught the displayed Shiny Charizard in the wild while sat on a bench rocking my 2 year old in town waiting for the rest of the family to stop spending my money in the store!
I wasn't even going to click on the Pokémon and actually did so by accident!

On a quick side note just in case Niantic happen to stop by why did Charmander get a second community day?
Yes I already know the answer is because it won the twitter vote but in fairness it should never have been on the poll in the first place!
About

My absolute favourite starter Pokémon of all time.
I always started with water Pokémon in every game.
Every one of these Pokémon was caught on the Squirtle community day way back in 2018.
Starting on April 2nd (If we start on the first nobody will believe us) 2021 we'll begin a monthly Shiny Pokémon give away (via Pokémon Home)
We won't be giving away the Pokémon shown here until the collection is complete or the game service comes to an end.

But we will offer a choice of any duplicate Shiny Pokémon go Pokémon we have including legendary Pokémon From April 2nd 2021 onwards you can check out details of what's on offer in the Legacy Giveaway section HERE
If you've got shiny versions of any of the Pokémon from Pokémon go please feel free to send some images our way (even if we haven't got them ourselves yet) we'll be happy to show off some of your shiny collections while pretending we aren't jealous about not having that one ourselves!

Review Summary
DOOM Eternal takes the hugely solid foundations laid down in 2016's excellent franchise reboot and adds more of absolutely everything.
This is a bigger, faster, funnier, more relentless and endlessly replayable game than its predecessor and it's one that gives you a ton more variety in how you go about dishing out death to the hordes of hell that await you across its meaty single player campaign.
It looks stunning, plays beautifully and is quite simply one of the most strategic, intense and hugely satisfying first-person shooters we've ever played.

Legacy will accept 5 contributor reviews for every game in the database (well every game ever released) even if it's not in the database yet.
We know 5 seems a little short but we don't want the overly popular games getting 100 reviews if lesser games get almost none.
We hope the 5 review cap will help spread reviews around a little...
Or just make you go post a review for the popular game somewhere else but please consider sharing review love for some of your other favourite or even less favourite games.

From April 1st 2021 every published contribution is entered into a monthly prize draw for a $10 gift card.

New 'SaGa Frontier Remastered' Protagonist Announced

London (March, 12, 2021) - First released in the North America in 1998 for PlayStation® and coming to Europe for the first time, the remastered version of SaGa Frontier—a beloved RPG classic–will finally be released on Thursday, April 15th, 2021. In this latest rendition, players can choose a protagonist of their liking and embark on a story unique to each player featuring different goals and endings for each protagonist.

Fans can expect a new evolution to the storyline with the addition of the new protagonist—Fuse. Additionally, players will be able to partake in dramatic battles by learning new techniques and the ability to access sequential special attacks. With beautifully remastered graphics, new events and features that were not implemented in the original version, fans will enjoy this classic title that has now become more accessible through modern consoles.

New Story Developments – Introducing Fuse as the Eighth Protagonist!

The scenario has been written by Akitoshi Kawazu (SaGa Series General Director) and Benny Matsuyama (game writer and fiction author). Fuse will follow the journey of the seven protagonists while the story unfolds in a manner that makes players get to the bottom of a case; they will find scenes that make them chuckle, as well as new developments that touch their hearts.

The ending to the seven character stories have evolved further from the original version and will surely make players want to follow everyone’s journey alongside Fuse. (Players can play this content by completing any of the other seven protagonists’ scenarios.)

Fuse’s storyline is further enlivened with new music from composer Ito Kenji.

About the Fuse Storyline

Unlock Conditions
Completing any of the other protagonists’ storylines unlocks the episode corresponding to that protagonist, enabling players to enjoy seven different scenario routes in total, one for each of the seven other protagonists.

Due to the feature that enables players to carry-over their status after completion, players can also enjoy this content with their stats already powered-up, providing replayability.

Structure
Allows players to enjoy the “IF” scenario: “What if Fuse had intervened in the other protagonists’ episodes?” and enables players to form parties that are only possible in the Fuse storyline.
There are also routes that branch into multiple endings as a result of the actions taken within the story.

Team-up with IRPO members
Other members of the IRPO can also join a party in Fuse’s storyline. Emilia’s fiancé “Ren” finally joins the party in the remastered version.
All Protagonists Join the Party
All protagonists can potentially join a party if certain conditions are met in the Fuse storyline. In the original game, certain characters did not join a party depending on the protagonist, but one of the compelling aspects of the remastered version is that it enables players to recruit all other protagonists to a party in the Fuse storyline.

All Final Boss Battles Possible
Players can potentially battle the other protagonists’ final bosses if certain conditions are met in the Fuse storyline. (A system that enables players to once again challenge the “final boss” of a protagonist that has joined a party in the Fuse storyline.)

Players can challenge up to 6; the more players defeated, the stronger the final boss becomes in the route, unfolding into a battle that poses an even greater challenge. The final boss battle BGM from the Fuse storyline has been newly composed by Kenji Ito.

Coming this summer 2021!

March 11th 2021 - Paris, France: Developer Artefacts Studio and publisher Dear Villagers (ScourgeBringer, Recompile) today revealed in an official trailer that The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and Switch this Summer 2021.

The game will also see a physical release on PS4 and Switch at the same time.

Already available on PC via Steam, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is a turn-based tactical RPG chock-full of charm, humour and chaos! Leading a ragtag company of unlikely heroes, players will embark on an epic adventure combining the fun, creativity and chaos of an epic fantasy tabletop campaign with the challenge of the very best tactical RPG games, delivering an adventure unlike anything you’ve played before.

The Naheulbeuk universe is an original creation by French author John Lang. It started as a very popular audio comedy series parodying role-playing, table top games, and heroic fantasy tropes, now made video game!

Explore a huge and surprising dungeon from the cave up to the luxury quarters of the evil lord Zangdar, passing through the goblin ice skating park and an extremely lively tavern!

Play with seven classic role-playing game characters complementing each other’s skills as you level them up: the Ranger, the Elf, the Dwarf, the Barbarian, the Magician, the Ogre and the Thief!

Exciting turn-based battles, with creative support mechanics between team members.

An expansive bestiary (more than 100 enemies!) pushing you to think more tactically with every fight.

Hidden and destructive objects (including beer kegs) with surprising status effects will turn the tide of battle for the better...or worse!

An adaptive difficulty system: from an accessible and fun story mode with simplified combat to the “nightmare mode” where the smallest tactical errors will lead you to your doom!

Bizarre conversations, absurd situations and unusual encounters await!

With thanks to Future Friends Games on behalf of Dear Villagers for the press release

A look ahead to my 2021 gaming wish list where as is so often the case with wish lists almost none will actually happen!

Multi / Any Platform
Picture
Dead By Daylight
My most played game of 2020 just as it was my most played game of 2019 and will almost certainly be my most played game of 2021
2020 saw multiple graphical upgraded to a good number of features and game maps with more to come in 2021.
It's also one of the most frequently updated games I've ever personally played with new killers and survivors entering the game every few months.
And it's one of these updates that is on my wish list for 2021 I'm not alone in this desire and there maybe impossible licencing issues and game working challenges but if I could have 1 killer added to the game it would be Chucky from Childs Play!
I think the recent twins release as to an extent shown how a little killer could run around the map and hunt down the desperate survivors.
Of course there would be some potential issues with hooking ect but I'm sure that could be worked out.
If I could hand pick a survivor (obviously it would be Andy if it was Chucky) I'd take Emma Roberts wonderful Chanel Oberlin from the tv series Scream Queens.
Again that would bring it's own licencing issues but as much as I love Meg and she'll always be main Emma Roberts would be a very close runner up!

Regardless which killers  / survivors do arrive in the game in 2021 I look forward to much more fun & the occasional frustration in the fog.

Odds Of Happening - My desires are high but my hopes are very low
Picture
A Super Bomberman Collection

Konami have released a couple of collection games in 2020 and so there is perhaps some slim hope that it might stick together an old Bomberman collection.
I'd happily take 1 -3 but would quite like the 4th entry to be included too.
I stuck an Evercade logo up above here because I think that might be the best possible chance for such a collection but to be perfectly clear I'd happily take such a collection on any platform

One of my favourite series of the 16 bit era and the hours and hours of multiplayer action we enjoyed I'd love to play through all of these games again on modern systems (though I do still play through them on a yearly basis on original hardware anyway)

Odds Of Happening - It's Konami just about anything could come out of nowhere
Picture
A Breath Of Fire Collection

If I could only play one turn based RPG series I'd take Breath Of Fire over anything else.
I played most 16 bit RPG's that made it to England in the 90's  and have spent the past 20 years catching up on anything I missed and playing many more newer games inspired by the era.

Breath Of Fire 2 is my second favourite Snes game of all time only placed behind A link to the past.
It's not the best RPG series in the world by any means but it was the one that connected me with the most.
I really liked the first game, I adored the second game and completely loved the 3rd game on the original PlayStation.

Wasn't a fan of the 4th game to put it mildly and as a result I never actually played the 5th game on PS2 (I do own it) and I never touched the  6th mobile phone version.

Capcom aren't particularly interested in creating these kind of games anymore but with remakes of various 90's classics coming 2021 and the number of 90's remakes coming from Japan in general in the past few years perhaps one day I'll get a full collection but I highly doubt that 2021 will be that year.

Odds Of Happening - Probably less than zero

PlayStation
Picture
My Own PS5 Console

Let's be honest the PlayStation 5 pre order launch was a rushed mess.
Some of that blame has to be given to Sony but many of stores at the very least in the UK all went for the free for all approach and completely ignored their own set times for pre orders to go live meaning many in the UK either had to refresh for hours on end or purely hope for the best.
Needless to say within mere hours there were hundreds of PS5 consoles for sale on eBay, Amazon and others for double and triple the retail price.

I tried and failed to get one during the initial pre orders (I didn't refresh for hours) and I didn't even bother trying to get one at various other points when they went on sale in the run up to Christmas.

I expect I'll pick one up during the first quarter of 2021 but honestly as of today I honestly don't care at what point in 2021 that actually happens.

Odds Of Happening - 100% will happen at some point in 2021

Xbox
Picture
A new Conker or Banjo for Xbox Series X

Let's be honest the Rare of 2021 is not the Rare of the 90's but that doesn't automatically mean Microsoft doesn't have the resources or the talent to create another good Banjo or Conker game be it under the Rare banner or with someone else.
Perfect Dark is coming and as my 4th personal Rare series I'm very much looking forward to seeing how that turns out.
But let's be honest Microsoft isn't short on shooters already, while they'll be people out there that perhaps feel that 3d platformers aren't something the Xbox players want and I haven't seen sales numbers so maybe they're right but from my perspective the more choice of genres given to players the better.

Odds Of Happening - I'd say there's at the very least a 50 / 50 chance something will be shown off at e3 or equivalent event in 2021

Nintendo
Picture
Splatoon 3

I got the first Splatoon on launch day on the Wii U played the story mode for an hour or two put it in the box and never played the game again.
When Splatoon 2 came out I got the game at launch put it on the shelf with many other games and left it there during the summer this year I finally put the game in my Switch console after much prompting from my kids went through the tutorial absolutely hated the motion controls thankfully turned them off decided rather than play the story mode I'd give multi player a try as the kids might find it more fun.
Since then it's my most played Switch game this year with many many hours put into it.
Still haven't touched the story mode so it's not like I'm in need of a new Splatoon game but I wouldn't be surprised to see it at least shown off this year for release in the next 18 months.

Odds Of Happening - I'm actually up at around 75% of this game being revealed in 2021
Picture
Nes & Snes Remix

Nintendo Online is in my opinion a reasonable service at a reasonable price but they really need to step up their offerings rather than just drip feeding so very little so very often.
the rerelease of the Nes & even a creation of a Snes remix would be a nice bonus for Switch online members and provide a fun online competitive leader boards.
Tetris 99 & Mario 35 have proved a bit of fun online competition is welcome and  while the NES versions were released on Wii U & 3DS I still think they'd be very popular on the Switch in addition to all the new content that could come from a Snes Version.

Odds Of Happening - As the saying often goes Nintendo will do whatever Nintendo want to do so this could be just as likely to happen as it could to never happen at all so I'll go 50 /50
Picture
Zelda four swords Remaster or remake

Zelda as a series is 35 years old this year and Nintendo will inevitably bring back some past games to celebrate that fact alongside perhaps releasing breath of the wild 2 (I think that will be a March 2022 game but we'll see)
Of the old games my personal choice would be four Swords either as a rerelease or even a new version or sequel.
The Switch is just about the perfect console for such a game with multiplayer and often multiple consoles in one house being a thing of all the past Zelda games this one would bring me the most joy.
"No kids there is nothing in this house you go ahead" while I loot every last rupee is something that will happen in my house in 2020 even if I have to get out the GameCube and all the link cables.
And before you feel sorry for my poor children I can assure you they'll quickly latch onto the idea and teal everything from under my nose like they do with treasure and other such things in any game we play,
They'll eat my turkey in streets of rage when they already have full health given half a chance they could do with losing a few rupees.

It could be released in a similar way to clubhouse games where you only need one copy and up to 3 others  can download a multiplayer only version to join you but honestly I'd buy the game 4 times at the right price because I know we'd get a lot out of it.
Just please Nintendo no more limited time releases

Odds Of Happening - I expect they'll be 2 or three Zelda games this year in addition to breath of the wild 2 if it makes it.
This kind of game would not only perfectly fit the switch multiplayer aspects but be a great accompaniment to another Zelda remake.
But again as with Nes Remix Nintendo will be Nintendo it's 100% there will be one or more Zelda games released in 2021 but virtually anyone's guess what they'll be.
