Q1. For those that don’t know much about you or LadyTank Studios could you please give us an introduction about both yourself and the company?
Melissa Somerville - Of course! Hello everyone! I'm Melissa Somerville aka theTank in LadyTank Studios while my wife, Kaitlyn Goodall, is theLady. LadyTank Studios is based in Belgrade, Montana. I'm the lead artist and crazy dreamer while Kaitlyn is the business end, design consultant, and does everything in her power to make all those crazy dreams come true! Oh and she burns her finger tips to remove Amiibo from their bases/breaking them down for customizing. I suppose that makes her my technical consultant too :)
Q1. You spent 11 years working for Ubisoft before moving on to create CoderChild, I know from personal experiencing the challenges leaving the safety of employment to go it alone can bring, but how big a decision was it for you and now 4 years later are you convinced it was the right decision?
David (Coder Child) - Whoa! that's a really good question!
As you said, that was really a big decision.
At that moment I had one kid and wife, but I thought that was the right moment and I did it.
4 years later, I still miss some things like working on a team, but on the other hand CoderChild has brought me the opportunity to learn and do many things I coudn't do there.
I think it was the right decision.
I’d like to start with a few questions about you and the company.
Q1. For those that don’t know much about you or Herrero Games Could you please give us a brief introduction about both yourself and the company?
Herrero Games - I'm a game developer from Santander, Spain. I started working on my first game 5 years ago, and then I created the company Herrero Games. It began as a one-man-company, but now the team is growing and we are also collaborating with other studios.
We're privileged to be in a position to ask game developers a few questions and of course very happy to be able to share those answers
These consist of various custom level creations from a number of games.
We'll make the levels and you try and beat them!
